Cameco Local History Room The Cameco Local History Room is equipped with: 2 Genealogy Research Stations with access to the Internet, the CemSearch cemetery record database and a printer; 1 microfilm reader/printer; 1 microfilm reader; access to a photocopier. We recommend that you reserve the microfilm reader and/or research station if your time is limited. Reservations may be made by contacting 905.885.4712 or email. Self-serve photocopying and printing charges are 0.25/page. Genealogical research assistance is available onsite Monday mornings or by appointment at the Mary J. Benson Branch. Cameco Local History Room

Computer booking stations are available for children and adults on both floors of the Library. Scan your library card at a booking station and choose an Internet or Research station.You can also make a computer reservation by phoning the Library at 905.885.4712. Please have your library card handy when you phone. Choose the length of and type of session that suits your needs.

Latest News

The adult, teen and children’s Internet stations offer 45-minute sessions for email, chat and surfing the Net. The Microsoft Office stations offer 1-hour sessions for homework, research and employment searches. These stations also offer access to a disk drive, CD drive and USB port.
