Bring your kids and head for the lighthouse at the Mary J. Benson Branch or the cozy children’s corner at the Garden Hill Branch.

 The Library offers our youngest patrons:

  • books, books and more books, including board books, picture books, easy readers, chapter books, and talking books;
  • a nonfiction section with titles chosen especially for young and inquiring minds;
  • children’s DVDs, videos and music CDs and cassettes;
  • programs for kids of all ages;
  • Internet access;
  • computer games for younger children that promote reading and math skills;
  • homework help;
  • after school and summer tutoring.

The Library provides all this and more, in a welcoming environment.

Please help us to ensure your children’s safety by monitoring their activities on the Internet, and by remembering that young children are not to be left unattended in the Library.
