Independent Study Unit Collection

The Library can make finding novels for an English ISU project easier with our new ISU Collection.

The ISU Collection packages:

• include novels with common themes, packaged together. Themes include ‘coming of age’, ‘the insanity of war’, ‘censorship,’ ‘racism’ and ‘utopia versus dystopia;’
• are in the Young Adult area on the second floor of the Mary J. Benson Branch;
• have a special two-month loan period, with one renewal.

You can help us improve the ISU Collection by

• making suggestions for other ISU topics;
• donating your own copy of novels to the Library once you’ve finished your ISU.

The ISU Collection was created with generous support from the Northumberland Youth Advisory Committee and the Friends of the Library.
